World Peace
Isa 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
What time will this be? During the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ. It takes place in Judah, in the city of Jerusalem; the holy city.
Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Jerusalem is on four hills; Zion, Acra, Bezetha and Moriah. The temple mount was believed to be on Mt. Moriah. The Lord's house shall be on Mt. Zion in the last days. He shall be exalted and rule over all nations.
Psa 132:13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
Psa 132:14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
Psa 132:15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
Psa 132:16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
Psa 132:17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
Psa 132:18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
They shall flow unto it. This is no Disneyland of fantasy things, this is almighty God, the Son of God come a second time to be the everlasting King. The saints shall return with him and there will be living flesh people, enjoying a restored earth of peace.
Isa 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Out of Zion shall go forth the law, to rule the nations in righteousness, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
With Jesus as judge, there will be no bribery or corruption. He shall rebuke, correct, reason with many people. No more wars, while satan is in the bottomless pit; no wars between nations, no weapons needed, they will be turned into farming tools. The land will no longer be cursed but will yield abundantly. It will be as the garden of Eden.
The Prophet Micah was also active in Isaiahs time. Micah spoke the same prophecy by inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Micah 4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
Micah 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Micah 4:3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Jesus makes all the difference. If only the nations would turn to him now. Most of those who seek world peace now, have rejected Jesus. There will be no world peace until satan is removed and the Lord Jesus Christ is crowned king of this world.
