ECCLESIASTES 7
7 Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.
Oppression, constant criticism or accusing...makes a man of God angry. A gift, as a bribe destroys the heart. Remain true to your calling in God. Don't be turned away by people's bad words or their flattery leading you away from God's calling for you.
8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
Endure unto the end, be patient. Bragging means little. Trust the Lord and continue to serve him.
9 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.
Keep your gentle heart, you serve God and are to be like Jesus who dwells within.
