Mark of the beast
Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
The false prophet will have evil power to force a mark upon the world's people. The Holy Spirit of God never forces himself upon people. He is gentle. The devil's counterpart forces people to be sealed with his mark; the mark of the beast, or the antichrist. Only those with the Holy Spirit could resist this mark. The mark is to be put on the right hand, the hand used for work. The mark would also be on the foreheads, controlling the mind, perhaps demon possession. This mark is so serious that it cannot be undone.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
No man could buy or sale without the mark. Most people only think of the needs of this life, the flesh life. For them, taking the mark means that they will be fed and have things; but taking the mark also means you lose your soul and worship the devil's beast.
Should we be afraid of technology that imbeds your identification in a micro chip inserted in the hand and forehead? No, it has no affect on you if you are a child of God. You may be killed, but you will not unwillingly take the mark if you are a child of God. Taking the mark means you have not God's Spirit, it means you willingly worship the antichrist, and it means you will sell your soul, like Esau, who sold his birthright for a bowl of stew.
Rom 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
God hated Esau? God will not receive those who sell there souls willingly to satan, to buy this worlds things. The mark of the beast is a final decision. We make wrong choices, but we may repent, for we belong to God. Those who want no part of God, God will not receive. Repent now, if you have not yet come to God through Jesus. Give your life to God and save it.
2 Cor 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
2 Cor 13:6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Six, one number away from seven. Seven is perfection and completion, a man without God shall never be perfect or complete. 666, the mark of the beast. Three numbers; an unholy trinity of fallen angels; satan and his demons controlling evil men.
1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Greater is God in his redeemed children, then the power of antichrist in those of the world. Begin now to draw the line. Invest in the everlasting treasure, eternal things, the word of God, His Spirit in you, leading you in his purpose.
