Goofy?

When I am around people I express myself by acting sort of goofy, nice, and friendly. 

Yeah me too. If people smile at you, it is better than rejection...But they can put you into their mold. Soon you may think you are this clown on strings for others to pull. Inside you are who you are. Be real. A time for funny things, a time for serious things, a time for God, and a time for others. Different levels of relationship. A casual, how are you? Or a deeper sharing, a beloved one to a beloved. If the world sees a fool, do we act this for them? No, we are fools for Jesus, different, separated unto him, becoming like him.  He is our mold to conform to.
