Strong Meat

Re: No More Manna

Heb 5:14  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

We must be weaned from milk and begin to eat and chew meat. Milk fed children are weak and unable to work as adults, but those who have feasted on the solid foods, such as vegetables or meat are able to discern both good and evil. No strong Christian should ever be able to say: I didn't know it was wrong. When we have been fed on the strong meat of the scriptures and have grown strong in faith, we will never again be satisfied with milk, which is repentance, believing on Jesus, or any of the other gentle things that we teach little believers. We will govern ourselves by the motto: "Thus saith the Lord."
