Isaiah 24 - No escaping from the Judgement

No escaping from the Judgement

Isa 24:7 The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.

In the coming tribulation, there will be no escaping into lusts and pleasures.

Isa 24:8 The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
Isa 24:9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.

No joy in rock and roll or any music of the world, there shall be no escaping into strong drink or drugs, they will no longer help; there is no escape.

Isa 24:10 The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
Isa 24:11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.

The city of confusion; we know confusion is of the devil, the lack of receiving truth. They cry for wine, but there is no escape. In the judgement all are aware of the awful empty pain and despair. We must be awake now, not later. We must seek the Lord to escape the coming judgement.

Isa 24:12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.
Isa 24:13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.

All will be desolation as with a nuclear attack, all contaminated, all that brought hope and blessing of the world is gone. This may not be too far away.

Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,...

This was before the tribulation. The days of ease and pleasure are gone for those of the world, those who escape into pleasures and have no desire for pleasing God, those who hide in the pleasures of the flesh will have nothing but sorrows. Where are the voices warning the people now? What are God's people doing? What will we do until he comes for us?
